Alia Shawkat was born in Riverside, California on the 18th of April 1989. She is currently one of the most well-known and wealthy TV actresses. She was Maeby on the Fox show Arrested Development, a part that won her TV Land Future Classic Award. Ellen Page was her co-star in Whip It. Shawkat was Hannah in State of Grace, from 2001-2004. Shawkat, playing Maeby Funke Shawkat, was an actor on Arrested Development throughout the run of the series from 2003-2018. Shawkat received praise for her performance on the show. Brian M. Palmer, an expert on pop culture and a commentator said that Shawkat was one of the most brilliant stars in an entire series that is populated with bright stars. Scott Weinberg from eFilmCritic described her as a 'funny young lady. The A.V. Shawkat admitted in the year 2010 that her best acting moments took place at the Arrested Improvement set. Mitch Hurwitz acted as my father. My time in the set of Arrested Development was so valuable to me as it helped my love of comedy to grow. Shawkat performed alongside Eva Mendes, Eric Wareheim and Whip It's Har Superstar Har Mar in the Tall Boy music video from Har Mar. Shawkat Har Mar teamed up with Whip-It co-star Ellen Page to produce and write Stitch N Bitch for HBO in October of 2009. The Hollywood Reporter says that the show follows two hipsters who hail from Brooklyn who make the move to Silver Lake, Los Angeles in pursuit of their dream of becoming professional artists. Braga received lots of praise and recognition for her role.
