tito ortizJacob Christopher Ortiz, born January 23 25th, 1975), is an American mixed-martial artist and politician. He is currently an official Combate Americas promotee. Ortiz is most well-known for his involvement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where as an earlier Light Heavyweight Champion from April 14, 2000 to September 26 2003, he held that title from September 26, 2003 until September 14, 2003. He was a pioneer in the sport with fighters such as Randy Couture or Chuck Liddell. Ortiz was eventually the biggest pay-per-view star of 2006 due to his fights against Liddell, Forrest Griffin, and Ken Shamrock Ortiz is the CEO of Punishment Athletics MMA equipment and clothing line, which is located in his home town of Huntington Beach, California.
