Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. The Canadian native has worked in Hollywood's film industry for a variety of projects. She played the character of Alexis Rose for the CBC comedy TV series Schitt's Trail, which started in 2015, and continued until. She got critically acclaimed for her performance, and won with the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in the city of Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. She is the mother of two teachers. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where she performed in stage productions. After graduating of Concordia University with a theatre degree, she then joined the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. Annie began her career as an actor who was struggling and struggled with proving her worthiness.
